Refund Policy

The International Journal of Medical and Health Sciences Archives (IJMHSA) strives to ensure transparency and fairness in its publication practices. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which authors may be eligible for a refund of Article Processing Charges (APCs) or other payments.

1. General Policy:

  • Once a manuscript is accepted and the APC is paid, no refunds will be issued except under specific circumstances outlined below.

  • Authors are strongly advised to review the journal’s scope, guidelines, and policies before submission and payment.

2. Eligible Refund Scenarios:

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Double Payment: If an author accidentally makes more than one payment for the same manuscript.

  • Technical Error: If a payment is made due to a system error and no service has been rendered.

  • Journal Error: If the journal cancels publication due to internal error and the article has not been published online.

3. Non-Eligible Scenarios:

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Author requests withdrawal after acceptance and processing.

  • Dissatisfaction with editorial decisions or peer review outcomes.

  • Delays in publication once the article has entered production.

  • Post-publication disputes regarding indexing, citation counts, or article impact.

4. Refund Request Process:

  • Authors must submit a formal request to the editorial office via email within 15 days of the payment date.

  • The request must include the manuscript ID, payment receipt, and a detailed explanation.

  • All refund requests will be reviewed by the editorial and accounts team within 10 business days.

5. Mode of Refund:

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the same method used for the original transaction (e.g., credit card, bank transfer).

  • Transaction charges incurred during payment or refund processing are non-refundable.
